One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.
I might have found *the* phone!
I just noticed this phone on LinuxDevices.com:
- It runs Linux (Qtopia Phone Edition with VoIP support!)
- It has a 2 megapixel camera
- …and a CIF camera in the front for video conferencing!
- An FM Radio
- UMTS (3G) Support
- GPS!
- An mp3 player (no ogg support, but it’s linux so that should be easily remedied)
- …and Bluetooth!
The only problem that I see is that it only supports the European UMTS standard and doesn’t support 850MHz GSM (which Cingular uses). It also doesn’t support Wifi, but that’s not as big a deal. Hopefully we’ll see a U.S. version of this phone soon.
